By the way, just to confirm, I have the same message. I'm running
amanda-2.5.1p1, compiled with the same maxtapeblocksize of 2048.

I have no idea what the tapebufs option does, and I'm too much of a n00b
to understand the description. I just set it to 64. I get about the same
message, even though everything seems to work fine.
