It looks like amandad is thinking that -auth=bsd is its name, which
means that it saw that in argv[0]

Try
 amanda  dgram   udp     wait    amanda  /usr/local/libexec/amandad
/usr/local/libexec/amandad -auth=bsd amdump amindexd amidxtaped
