I am currently running F7 with xinetd-2.3.14-12.fc7 and no problems,
but this is an IPv4 network. I believe the previous version of xinetd
is that in the Fedora repo. The one in the Fedora repo also works,
without the workround line.
After you changed the xinetd file for amanda, did you restart xinetd?
