Hi,

We have a brand new Amanda 2.5.1p1 install with Samba
3.0.23d for Windows backups. The amanda server is
running on Solaris10.

Whenever we run amcheck with a Windows client in the
disklist, the amcheck completes successfully, but a
core dump is generated by selfcheck.c in /tmp/amanda.

Per mdb, it looks like it is breaking during the
check_disk routine:

% mdb core
Loading modules: [ libc.so.1 ld.so.1 ]
> ::stack
libc.so.1`strlen+0x50(3ac4d, ffbffc04, ffbff481, 0, 0,
0)
libc.so.1`printf+0xf4(3ac48, 524a0, 0, 524be,
ff068284, 54e50)
check_disk+0x1890(5cc20, 0, 53dd0, 53df8, 0, 5cc4d)
main+0x10cc(3, ffbfff04, ffbfff14, 53920, ff0f0140,
ff0f0180)
_start+0x5c(0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0)

Anyone else getting this behavior?

Thanks,
JB
