Good point.  Also, usb peripherals get device names in the order
they are seen.  That can change depending on what might be plugged
in and maybe upon the phase of the moon ;)  What might be /dev/sdc
this boot might be /dev/sdb next.

So find out what mechanisms your OS has to support administrator
defined naming and mounting.  It might be fs labels, uuid's,
udev configuration, or ???
