Hi!

I created a setup with virtual tapes on a raid1 and made some successful
backups. Unfortunately amanda doesn't let me restore.

This is the output of amrecover:

amrecover> extract

Extracting files using tape drive file:/data/amandatapes/daily on host
amanda2.edvz.sbg.ac.at.
The following tapes are needed: daily6

Restoring files into directory /home
Continue [?/Y/n]?

Extracting files using tape drive file:/data/amandatapes/daily on host
amanda2.edvz.sbg.ac.at.
Load tape daily6 now
Continue [?/Y/n/s/t]?
EOF, check amidxtaped.<timestamp>.debug file on amanda2.edvz.sbg.ac.at.
amrecover: short block 0 bytes
UNKNOWN file
amrecover: Can't read file header
extract_list - child returned non-zero status: 1
Continue [?/Y/n/r]?
amrecover>

And the contents of amidxtaped.20060929112854.debug
