The selfcheck seems to be stuck on /etc.
There is no "OK" line.

There should be at least another amandad.*.debug file.
The server first sends a "noop" (no operation) packet to the client,
to find out the capabilities of the client (the bitmask, sent as
"features" above).
The next packet is the "selfcheck" request.
But that amandad program is still waiting for the selfcheck to finish
so that file is still incomplete (but it should be there).
