Hi,

This isn't really an AMANDA related question but I give it a shot.

I recently upgraded the AMANDA machine from Fedora Core 1 to CentOS
4.2. Everything runs well when it comes to AMANDA but the tapelibrary
does not respond.

I've linked /dev/changer to /dev/sg0 (the device asigned) and 'mtx
status' is giving the right output but when it comes to mt commands I
get no aswer... not even errors and the tapelibrary isn't moving a bit.

mtx needs the changer (= generic scsi device),
but mt needs the tapedevice (/dev/nst0 probably).

Do you have any clues about what I should try to solve this problem?
