Tell her.
amadmin <your-conf> no-reuse <tapelabel>
will keep the tape in the indexes, but never claim nor accept it for
use. It won't be included in the tape count for tapecycle.
If you ever want to use the tape again, `reuse'.
On the other hand if you lost a tape, `amrmtape' is what you want.
