The Official AMANDA Documentation, Chapter 16, ( USING AMANDA ), page
120-121 states:

AMANDA has configuration options - - - - - .  There is also support for :
*  Incremental-only backups where full dumps are done outside of AMANDA, -
- - - -

Does anyone know how to configure AMANDA for incremental backups only,
where the full dump is done outside AMANDA.
