RE: amrecover: Unexpected end of file

I ran amverify <config>. Here is what I got:
No tape changer...
Tape device is /dev/nst0...
Verify summary to amanda
Defects file is /tmp/amanda/amverify.5329/defects
amverify Daily
Wed May 11 12:39:29 EDT 2005
Using device /dev/nst0
Waiting for device to go ready...
Rewinding...
Processing label...
Volume DailySet104, Date 20050510
Rewinding...
End-of-Tape detected.
Rewinding...
When I ran "amrestore /dev/nst0 <host name>", I got
amrestore: 1: reached end of tape: date 20050510
Does anybody know how to fix this?
Thank you, Lei

I've had similar problems in the past for unknown reasons. In several
instances running amverify <config> on the tape in question has been
enough to correct the problem and allow me to restore.
Good luck.
