Note, this just calls it an I/O error. Amanda can not know
for sure whether it was EOT or not.

This can be misleading as the [out of tape] is a guess and a
possibility. Amanda doesn't have any tape it can write to,
but is that because it really reached the end of the media
or some other error like a hardware problem.
And you did not include the line that would show just when
the error was received. Something like "taper: ... kb ... fm ..."

This is not how much was taped. It is the size of the output
of the next line after compression. It is what would have
been taped if an I/O error had not occured.

An error of some sort occured after 28 of 34 DLE's were taped.
Only 400 meg successfully seems to have been taped. The 29th
DLE might have been taping when the error happened.
