My guess is that you have not specified a reserved=50% (or
thereabouts) in the holding disk section of your amanda.conf, or that
you need additional holding disk. And since the action for a dle
thats larger than the free % of the holding disk is to go straight to
tape, the holding disk area wasn't used at all, or it was summarily
deleted at EOT detection. If the reserved is not set, the default is
to reserve 100% for incrementals only. I see that you are using a
disklist that results in some pretty large dle's of 3.5 and 3.7GB for
the two listed as level 0's. You would make amanda's schedueling job
a lot simpler if they were further broken up into < 1 GB pieces by
using tar which can do subdirs and such.
So 3 questions:
How big is a level 0 the dle? (disklist entry)
How big is the holding disk? The 20GB I see above, with 7.25GB used
for the pair of level 0's still sitting in it? If thats the case,
then obviously you do have reserved set since it did leave level 0's
sitting in it, but to too large a percentage. I have about 26GB, and
a reserved = 30%
How much of your holding disk is reserved?
