Just look into the docs:

docs/HOWTO-FILE-DRIVER in the current tarball.

I think you should not configure the Samba-share as holdingdisk, but
as the dir containing your vtapes (if you really want to do it that
way, think indices/recovery-etc ....)

Maybe just consult that file and come back with additional thoughts.
