Use hard drive

Good morning.

I have no tape drive and would like to use my hard drive to store backups.
I've used a DLT40 in the past and I have some experience with AMANDA.

I would like to know if it's possible to do so, what partitioning method you
sugest and potential problems this implementation might bring (does recovery
works alright?).
