amanda full report, amcheck question

Amanda users,
I'm dumping a non-trivial amount of data to my LTO tapes (HW compression)
and have amanda configured (or so I believe) to use a second tape (in
the Storedge 9 jukebox) on our Solaris system when it needs to (just a
matter of time I'm sure).
My question is - I'm see that amcheck looks for the next tape, in this
case NTNWKLY03 - but does it look for multiple volumes in the jukebox ?
My amanda.conf does specify 2 available tapes, does amcheck check for 2
volumes. It looks to me that it doesn't, but perhaps should (just another
wishlist item or is this included in a more recent version, currently
this system is at 2.4.4).
output from amdump (trimmed)
------------------
These dumps were to tape NTNWKLY02.
The next 2 tapes Amanda expects to used are: NTNWKLY03, NTNWKLY04.
