Trying to restore a disk via a tapeless amanda system (2.4.3).

I enter the following command:

amrestore -p file:/tapes gateway /dev/hdb1 | restore -ivb 2 -f -

I get:

amrestore: WARNING: not at start of tape, file numbers will be offset
amrestore: 0: reached end of information
Verify tape and initialize maps
Input is from file/pipe
restore: Tape read error on first record

I think I have to somehow rewind the virtual tape in /tapes, not sure
though.

Any ideas ?
