Thats a new one, at least to me John.  Do you know what all is 
installed in the stock install of a 'raidzone'?

In other words, I think we all need more info on this particular 
lashup.  Kernel version, how configured if possible, hardware 
interface cards in the box, that sort of thing.

OTOH, its not too hard to setup a software raid under linux if the 
extra interface cards are available and supported, which most of the 
Promise and HiPoint cards are.
