This is bad, on 2 points.

1.)
dumpcycle should be 7 days unless you want 100% fulls only.

runspercycle should also be 7 (note lack of day spec, not needed)

Now one *could* run on a 7 tape cycle, but you then have the
unpleasant possibility that you'll get a bad backup that overwrote
your only good backup. I'd recommend not less that 14 tapes for
tapecycle just to cover this possibility.

2.)
Bear in mind that amanda is programmed to use about the same amount of
tape every night, and forceing it to do things on a set day of the
week is going to take some blacksmith work to hammer her into your
prefered mold. This results in one really huge backup a week,
followed by only 5% tape useage the rest of the week, and it *will*
get out of synch with your concept of a week that starts on a Monday,
bet the farm on it and you'll be safe because it will happen.

Because amanda does this daily 'load balanceing', one can, if you let
amanda have her way, backup on a 7 day dumpcycle, 2 machines
currently totalling 30,681,201Kb, onto 120 meter DDS2 tapes with a
raw capacity of 4Gb each, one tape a nightly run. If you force her
into your mold, this operating efficiency will disappear, and you may
lose the farm too if you bet wrong.
