im a bit confused and hope someone can shed some light.
i have been able to perform one backup to disk, however i am not sure how then
to perform the next days backup.
i was assuming id use /usr/lib/amanda/chg-multi -slot advance to move to the next directory ive created. however after doing this and running a amdump i recieved the following error.
*** A TAPE ERROR OCCURRED: [label folder-02 or new tape not found in rack].
Some dumps may have been left in the holding disk.
Run amflush to flush them to tape.
The next tape Amanda expects to use is: folder-02.
now folder-02 is the amlabel i gave the directory the chg-multi has rotated too?
i know some of you guys have been writing about the amrecover_changer option?
adding it the the amanda.conf file but does this have anything to do with
problem im having
