OK! I was an idiot and didn't know where chg-multi was. I found it, and
tried to excecute the
-slot advance thing. It said,
chg-multi: firstslot not specified in /var/lib/amanda/changer-status". This
file does not exist. I don't know what's supposed to be in it...

That script is part of amanda, and that is the default location. If
amanda was compiled with some other options on your system, the
binaries/scripts may be elsewhere.
