Yes, it is a Linux client. That's odd, I've never had this problem before. I backup several other Linux clients' root disks with no problems-- same version.

I found that if I explicitly entered "/dev/sda1" in disklist, amcheck stops complaining. Hopefully that will take care of it until I can upgrade the client.
