amcheck passes fine. Amanda has permission to read this volume and can
read it (I tried as amanda to read it).

I keep getting this error (from sendsize log):

time 0.847: running "/sbin/dump 0Ssf 1048576 - /r/amanda/b1"
sendsize[8754]: time 0.847: running /usr/local/libexec/killpgrp
sendsize[8754]: time 0.850: DUMP: Cannot open /dev/i2o/hda1
sendsize[8754]: time 0.850: DUMP: The ENTIRE dump is aborted.

man dump (snippet)
files-to-dump is either a mountpoint of a filesystem or a list of files and directories to be backed up as a subset of a filesystem.
____________

/dev/i2o/hda1 is a device. I don't have it listed in either amanda.conf
or disklist. It is the device that is mounted as /r on this system. I don't know why dump is trying to open the device and not read the directory.

Posibilities - this directory is on the holding disk '/r/amanda', however, I have the 'holdingdisk no' in the dumptype definition.

Ideas? Please .. .

thanks,

Santiago
