Hi Eric,

Once you connect with a "trusted" client and the certificate is 
distributed, the mode is set to back to STRICT. The idea is that 
userid/adminid now has the certificate, it must supply it when you 
reconnect to verify you are who you say you are. 

You could reset the admin back to TRANSITIONAL and do the same thing for 
the second machine.
