Hi Stefan ....

Great .... Make sense !

I made all the changes and works fine.

The only thing I have to take care is the communication between the client to
the TSM server, very slow !

Meantime It will be wise to activate in the dsm.opt of the client the option:
compression YES ????

I remind that I backup directly to LTO7 tape (ULTRIUM7C).

Best Regards

Robert

Robert,

The keep mount option is only applicable if you migrate the data to a
sequential volume *after* you store it in the diskpool, so with your direct to
tape setup here it doesn't do anything.
The session will hold a single drive for the entire duration of its backup
session.
