As Eric pointed out, QUIET=NO only shows detail down to the filespace level not 
the file level.

I'm not sure what data you are looking for but maybe a select statement against 
the backups table looking for STATE='INACTIVE_VERSION' and an appropriate date 
comparison against DEACTIVATE_DATE would give you what you want.

You are right David, By default it is NO only. Its not showing details
information in activity log.

If I remember correctly quiet=no only tells you which filespace expiration
is currently processing, not which file...

Add the "quiet=no" option to the command.  At my level of TSM, 7.1, it is
the default but if you explicitly request it you should get details.  Also
check the EXPQUIET option in the server options file.

If you run expiration explicitly (recommended) with the "expire inventory"
command, the details are written to the activity log.
