Hi guys!
I haven't had much experience with physical tape drives (we are using DD VTL's 
only) but recently I installed a few stand-alone IBM LTO5 drives to be able to 
externalize TSM data on request. I need the serial numbers of the drives for 
administrational purposes. I know TSM reports a serial number in the drive 
definition, is this identical to the physical serial number on the sticker on 
the back of the drive?
