Hi,
So I was planning to upgrade one of our AIX TSM servers from V6.3.4.0 to
V7.1.1.0. Downloaded the package, extracted it and tried to fire off the
well known command ./install.bin -i console.... 1st error.
Things change, this has changed to ./install.sh -c. And now the fun starts.
All packages are selected (while you cannot install all on 1 server) and no
indication given on how to select anything. The previous 1,2,3 selection
gets rejected and selected either 1 of them ends up (after multiple
screens) with only option C..
Search to usual locations on how to get this "nice" menu to work but IBM
only states "you can use the console mode to install". Its not helping
much. Putting some extra lines on the console screen would be helpfull but
he..... why bother.
If any of you can direct me to some helpfull documentation on this changed
install methode, I will very glad.
Kind regards,
Karel
