That did the trick but it still backs up all folder entries for the excluded 
files

Can those also be excluded?

Reverse the order.  Includes and excludes are processed bottom up.

Attempting to include just one subfolder within a folder that I want to exclude.
Cant  seem to come up with right combination.

Is the 2nd overriding the first?

Include "D:\USR1\Folder1\Folder2\Folder3\Folder4\...\*.*"

Exclude "D:\USR1\Folder1\...\*.*"
