Are there any other events for the drive or tape in the log?
Does the library need to be audited? Is the correct tape being mounted?
Does the VTL software show any issues with the tape?
Does the OS show anything?
Do all of the tapes have a similar last write date and time?

Hi TSM-ers!
In one of my virtual libraries I found 4 tapes which were unavailable. I 
updated them to read-only and issued a move data for them. This failed due to 
the following error:

04/22/2014 14:39:13 ANR8355E I/O error reading label for volume 020408 in drive 
TVTL_TLSP2_1_DR38

This looks like an unlabeled tape, but it's a private tape used in a primary 
storage pool! So I tried relabeling it with overwrite=yes:

04/22/2014 14:59:11 ANR8816E LABEL LIBVOLUME: Volume 020408 in library 
TVTL_TLSP2_1 cannot be labeled because it is currently defined in a storage 
pool or in the volume history file.

Now what... I can't read the data on the tape since the label is corrupt and I 
can't relabel it because there is data on it!
