Just wanted to mention also that for me, the new support portal search
seems to be more functional than the previous one.  I have not had the
same "search service available" error message that spawned this thread
with the new portal.  Though, if I do run into the same issue as before, I
will be certain to update this thread.  Thanks for looking out for us!
