I have a lot of other volumes in the same library and all of them are relabeled 
after reclamation except newly defined.

Strange ..... I add my new volume in the VTL library on TSM using this command

LABEL LIBVOLUME XXXX search=y volr=V00800,V00849 labels=b checkin=scr 
overwrite=n

Maybe will help ...

Hello everybody,

I have added additional volumes in Data Doamin VTL and checked in them by using 
next command checkin libvol <library> search=yes stat=scr checkl=barcode After 
adding volumes I have found all of them from "q vol" in status "Scratch 
Volume?: No"
As a result, all new volumes are not relabeled after reclamation to release 
disk space in Data Domain.
They are becoming just EMPTY private volumes and reused without relabeling.
What was done wrongly?
How to fix problem now?
