Hello Hans Chr.,

The wizards are not required, they are a convenience.
The MMC will look for a number of things to be set when indicating
that a workload is configured or not. The wizards will ensure
that those things are set. The best way to determine what those
settings are is to run the desired wizard on one machine and look
at the respective opt and cfg file entries for each workload
as well as the client service names.

The only Windows services that are created (if needed)
are the TSM Client Acceptor (CAD) service and the
TSM Remote Client Agent (DSMAGENT). These are required for
VSS operations. If you see other services being created,
please report this through a PMR.

The User's Guide has instructions on silent install for all components.
Individual components and prereqs can be installed manually -
interactively or silently.

After that... cfg, opt, services can be created / updated as needed.

If you continue to see problems or I have not covered
something appropriately, please open a PMR so we can
get the details of the issues you are seeing.

Thanks,

Del
