Hi,

We have two servers in a cluster that looks like this:

DataCenter A
  WinServer-A (Windows 2008)(ba client v6.4.2)(VCS Global)
  TSMserver-A (v5.5.6 on AIX)

DataCenter B
  WinServer-B (Windows 2008)(ba client v6.4.2)(VCS Global)
  TSMserver-B (v5.5.6 on AIX)

The two Win servers are a cluster, using VCS Global
(Verital Cluster Service with a Global option) and Veritas
tools to replicate application data. The cluster servers
communicate across a WAN.

On a normal cluster you would create 3 TSM nodes (I believe):
2 nodes for local drives - one for each Win server,
1 node for the cluster drives.
And since the cluster nodes and TSM server would all be
at the same site, the TSM nodes would be on a onsite TSM server.

But in out setup with VCS Global the Win servers are at
separate locations. THere is a TSM server at each datacenter.

We are trying to figure how to set this up:
  - Create 3 nodes on one one TSM servers and do all backups to it.
TSM would have a offsite/DR copy at the other site.
  - Create 2 nodes on one TSM and 1 on the other.
  - something else?

Does anyone have any experience on how this wan cluster would be setup?

Thanks

Rick
