Hi Robert,

I've done this on several customer sites and defined the MAXCAP to be 400G. It
really does not matter much which size you choose, because the DD will dedup
over every volume.

Met vriendelijke groet,

Hi to all

I am in stage of implanting a new Tsm server V6.3.2.200 on a Windows 2008 R2
64B Enterprise connected to a Data Domain DE duplication.

I am wondering about the maxcapacity on the devclass of device type file
configuration for a storage pool .

Thinking between 50G or 100G ? The impact of the capacity on the reclaim
process ?

def devc fileclass01  library=filelib01 devtype=file mountl=40 maxcap=50G or
100G  directory=\\...................

Regards Robert
