"block" storage was mentioned, so I'm assuming san/iscsi.   We do have a
branch location using Netapp san luns for db/log/primary disk.
We are also using remote NFS for a copy pool.  The SAN stuff works fine,
the remote NFS is super slow, but I'll blame that on the latency.
A lot of people use Netapp for san/block access nowadays.  I don't think
it's anything to be worried about.

shares?
