Your posting doesn't say exactly how you downloaded the bin file.  Problems 
using software downloaded with FTP are commonly due to the download not having 
been performed in Binary mode.  Given that the bin file has a Feb 28 date, I 
would expect it to be in good condition (but nothing in life is guaranteed).
