Hi Rick,

I am not sure if I fully understand you question. Any thing others, please
just let me know.

All server configuration is such as storage pools, libraries are defined on
server, not in AC. So AC upgrade is not related to them.
As you see, that upgrade is really a new installation.

What we can partially maintain are: server connections which you already
added to your 5.4 AC.

* Try following:
1)
Search tsmservers.xml in original AC 5.4 folder, there may be more than
one, but latest one is the the bingo.
2)
Copy it to 5.5 server installation dir, on my machine is as following:
%AC5.5_ROOT%\PortalServer\shared\app\dsm
3)
Restart 5.5 server, you will find all original server connections are
there.

* Limitation of this method:
The connection credential (user name and password) is missing, you still
need to input again.

* Misc:
1) This method can be used in all AC, 5.x to 6.x.
2) From 6.1 we provide methods in AC to download connection file and upload
connection file in "Manage Servers" section, life changes to easier.
