Incremental backup of  SYSTEM STATE is very small in comparison with full 
backup (of course without serious changes like new SP). TSM Client backs up 
some changed files and informs how many files are used from previous full 
backup for current SYSTEM STATE image.
We are using TSM Journal Service to avoid scanning all files from SYSTEM STATE 
(80,000+). As a result daily backup takes very short time (2-3 minutes for not 
very busy server) and small amount of data (around 500 MB daily).

It seems that there has been no solution either than nor now. Incremental 
System State backups is an improvement that can help. Does anybody has some 
statistics how is dayly incremental backup compared to the full in percentage ?
