When looking into exclusion problems, use 'dsmc q inclexcl'.
Don't rely upon visual inspection of files, as the information there is often
only part of the story.
Also check your backup log file to see what "volumes" it reports as
participating when it starts, and compare that against the query output to
correlate ingredients. Outside the backup window, initiate a manual 'dsmc i'
(which you can cancel) and see if its "volumes" list agrees with what's in the
scheduled backup.
