[ADSM-L] deleting / expiring files from selective Backup
2010-11-02 06:58:29
Dear all,
backing up a non-posix filesystem (such as Lustre), it seems to be the
best way to indicate changed files (with file system's internal tools)
and use this filelist for an selective backup.
doing this, while restore deleted files will be restored, too.
Do you have any ideas how to tell tsm that some files have been deleted?
Besides this, I think identifying removed files will be difficult
either. Does tsm offer something like a easy accessable "stored files
list"? Or will be the only way to make tsm-database-queries to get the
files?
thanks & best regards,
Bjørn
