FWIW, we have been at 6.1.4.1 for a while and are no longer seeing the
errors.  How would I check for the orphans?

Anybody on 6.1 who has survived and recovered from IC68245,

Can you tell me whether upgrading to 6.1.4.1 (or a 6.2 x) to get the
fixing code actually takes care of the orphans for you, or does it just
stop new orphans from being created?

Trying to figure out whether it's best to go ahead and upgrade first, or
have Tivoli support clean up the orphans one at a time....
