    Thanks Zoltan,

You may be correct  could be a bad/corrupt package I downloaded the
package from the FTP site. It appears  the TIVsmCapi.pkg portion
completed successfully.  If I were to try a higher version wouldn' t I
have to uninstall that package or can I just leave it and the newer
would overwrite?

Why would you want 6.1.0.0 when 6.2.x is available? Or as a minimum

6.1.3.

Suggest downloading a higher/newer version or at least re-downloading

this

I'm trying to unzip a solaris 6.1.0.0 client and I keep getting the
error below has anyone had this issue before?
