Hi

Probably a bit late for a reply, but I recently upgraded an AIX based
5.3.x install to 5.5.3.0 and the upgradedb took less than a minute.

I am in the process of upgrading our mainframe Linux TSM server
from 5.4.2.0 to 5.5.4.0. The last message in the shell window
where I executed the 'install_server' command is:

Upgrading TSM server database...

A 'ps' command shows a 'dsmserv UPGRADEDB' process that has been
running for about 28 minutes elapsed time and has used about 23
minutes of processor time. Is this normal behavior?
