This is default option, if node is in domain, where you have default management
class.

So just remove all additional includes (keep only default includes coming after
client installation).

Thanks for the solution.

But I want to backup to the storage pool which is assigned to default

management class.

What's the option.

Kiran.

You can try to add in dsm.opt at the beginning (important!) of

include/exclude list:

INCLUDE "*:\...\*" NOT_DEFAULT_CLASS

INCLUDE.SYSTEMSTATE ALL NOT_DEFAULT_CLASS

This will fix your problem for sure.

Subject: [ADSM-L] Backup issue...

Hi,

I have a setup of TSM server and client v5.5.

I have configured two management class. one is default and the other is

non-default.

I performed selective backup in non default management class. It was

successful. Two different storage pools for backup for both management

classes.

But when I try to perform incremental on the default management class,

server is trying to mount from both the storage pools from default and

non-default management class.

This is making lot of IO operations and witting to both management class is

happening.

Please suggest how to resolve the issue.

Regards,

Kiran.
