Another unanswered question is whether we can do the conversion directly into 6.2, 
or do we have to go 6.1.0 ->  6.2?  If the latter, will we have to pass quickly 
thru 6.1.2?  I hope this will be addressed in the documentation, whenever that 
becomes available.
