Hi Tim,

First, I'm surprised that you would even ask such a basic system
administration question. I'd think that the process of adding and
removing software to your system is such a basic skill that I'd only
expect this question to pop up if TSM was not installed using the OS
specific tools (client, pre 6.1 server) or it's own tool on all
platforms (6.1 server).

Hi all,

What is the command (s) to remove all the Linux Tivoli Client cleanly
from a server?

as you might know, this is actually documented in the client manual.

Pkgrm TIVsm? or rpm -e TIVsm-BA? both ?

Why do you think that pkgrm would do anything on your linux
distribution? Assuming that you run the client on a supported linux
distribution, package management is carried out using the rpm command.

Is there also a uninstall utility?

I guess that you have a windows background, where this is common. On a
real OS, the package manager can do everything that an uninstall
utility could do, including running a script to do anything.

Thanks in advance!

I'd suggest to everybody to actually read the fine manual before
posting! Now if there is anything unclear in the manual, of course
we're all very much willing to help.
