Chris is correct. You set maxscratch per stgpool. 20 (just under half)
sounds appropriate to me on a very basic level. It means you can create a
copy stgpool for this first stgpool and have some tapes ready for DB
backups, etc. You should do some work estimating your first stgpool's growth
in data, tape growth, whether a copy pool will be used, how many DB backups
are sufficient...
