Yes, I should have said but I confirmed that the 5.4 client is returning 8 for 
the same command that my 5.3 client it returning 0 when they both succeed.

I didn't do this straight away, of course. I assumed that my program was broken 
and not the TSM client so I wasted a few hours... :)
