Yes, copy the data from the uncompressed tape to a new tape.

TSM Server version: 5.5
Tape Library: HP MSL6060 with latest drivers and firmware updates.
4 Tape Drives: HP Ultrium 04  1840
Operating system:  Windows 2003 R2 SP2
Tape Cartridge: LTO4 1.6TB compressed

Hardware tape compression was not turned on at the tape drives. I have
numerous tapes that are marked 100% FULL and are only half full if they
were compressed. I have since turned on hardware compression and all
newly
used tapes are being compressed. I need to know if there is any way to
compress the tapes already marked FULL in my Onsite and Offsite Tape
Copy
Pools. Thank you.
